I like that her dancers are everywoman.. she is very fetching with that caressing voice, cute facial expressions, physical movements (a certain silliness that is all her own). I can't get enough of this song.

Nov 18, 2008 - Funny, I was just listening to Beth Orton. Yes, that's a good thing, but I think Cat Power has her own thing going on here. They may be similar but they are very different, if you know what I mean. Power lends a lot of strength to this song considering where she was coming from. Somebody said lay off the bottle, and she did. Despite her addiction during this song, however, she did a soulful job.

Nov 21, 2008 - I can see the Nico! Power is so humble. She comes across as very humble and quiet in this video, yet the other works on this CD weren't. She also has a milder sound in subsequent albums. She could never quite believe the artist that she was. I think Orton always had that, even they they might sound a bit similar. I guess it's just different life stories.
