Dec 31, 2008 - If you are referring to the speed of the video, it's not sped up. If you look at the video from 2004 is actually much faster tempo. You can also listen to the original recorded version of the song being played called "White Heat" which was recorded by the Jimmie Lunceford Orchestra.

Dec 31, 2008 - I have three pieces of advice if you really want to get good: 1) find your local lindy hop instructor and learn from them, 2) "the pretzel" isn't a swing move, so don't learn it or encourage it, and 3) you'll learn aerials eventually, but remember that's not what this dance is about. You have to learn how to dance (with your feet on the ground) well, before you can learn how to do air steps well.
