Nov 20, 2008 - the only reason weed is illegal is because you can grow it so the govt. cant tax it. but if it was legal it would boost the economy in a big way because they could tax SOME of the weed. plus i think the drug "war" should focus on hard drugs. hard drugs are dumb as hell. alcohol gives you handovers, alcohol poisoning, drunk driving deaths, domestic violence. but weed gives you non of the above it just chills you out. it doesnt make sense that alcohol is legal yet weed isnt.
