Nov 2, 2008 - i can understand an homage, because the h isn't stressed. but in historical the h is stressed. I mean how do you say it? istorical or HIstorical.

RowanLives Says:

Nov 3, 2008 - Hey grammar police, when does your shift end?

danielhiryu Says:

Nov 3, 2008 - Washington is a piece of shie.

ssgtnelson Says:

Nov 4, 2008 - "an historic event" is correct since it refers to the word "event" not "historic"

allrequiredfields Says:

Nov 4, 2008 - Wrong. You wouldn't say 'an catastrophic event'. The N is there as a consonant to improve the flow between two vowel sounds. People like you annoy the shit out of me; so in love with their own voice, they'll pull something out of their ass, just to be heard.

neatoburrrito Says:

Nov 5, 2008 - No, I'm pretty sure that it's "an historic" because the "h" is so soft that it's considered silent. For instance, you would say "an historic day" even though "day" begins with a hard consonant.

witchabitchass Says:

Nov 7, 2008 - just wanna point out that "an" is only used in front of "h-" words with the brits because they barely pronounce initial h's at all. americans favor a harder "h", which is why we go for "i have a big house". using "an" is probably more correct, if there is such a thing in terms of language, on account of brits are so classy they probably know what's best.

cstinley Says:

Nov 10, 2008 - wow, congratulations guys! You're moronic AND sexist! Way to reach for that brass ring! This one is hilarious just like all the other. If you don't like this bit that's your right, but to say it's because women aren't funny is just proving how ignorant you are.

Johnnygyro Says:

Nov 18, 2008 - This one is my favorite. I love the hiccuping, I nearly pissed my pants when the characters were hiccuping while acting out the story. And what's with all this sexist shit? Chicks are funny too. Just look at, oh I don't know, Tina Fey (you may have heard of her), Amy Poehler, Samantha Bee, Chelsea Handler, Kathy Griffin...

avapepper Says:
