Nov 22, 2008 - it's not "live the life", hasn't translation in english. "viva el rey" = "long life the king" . "viva españa" = "god bless america" . "viva stalin" = "hooray stalin". "viva hitler" = "heil hitler". so "viva la vida" is... well, means that you apreciate a lot the life.
