Investors will require you to have a patent prior to investing in your project... so you see the dilemma? they wont fund you if all is not set up traditionally & legally but that is the downfall because there are people paid off in the patent office to block your every move.

To say it produces 24 kJ per second per day just doesn't mean anything. It's like saying a stream of water has a rate of 1 liter/sec per day. (Also it doesn't make sense to say you "buy a kilowatt.") They could have either meant 24 kW of power, or 24 kJ of energy per day. In any case, somebody doesn't know what they're talking about.

Then again, perhaps I would hope that I could still get rich as the original inventor of the public domain invention.

There are also ways to get rich on an invention which you release into the public domain. At least one of these inventors must have been smart enough to figure out how to get rich in addition to figuring out how to break the known laws of the universe. We're talking about a paradigm shift like nothing else in history. "Rich" will have new meaning in the new paradigm.

Also the conservation of momentum and energy is a question for me.Otherwise its a revolutionary invention and must be studied independently and should be commercialized and put it in use.
